Ocelot Threats

The main threats to the Ocelot is habitat destruction for agriculture, hunting for their fur, and pet trade. Because of their beautiful fur, they are killed. However, the main threat now a days is habitat loss, with forest clearance for agriculture reducing the dense cover on which it depends on.
