Diagnose Your Car Yourself!!!
I woke up this morning with the usual informercial showing on television. This time it was one that I've always wanted. Your familiar with the "Check Engine" light, right? If your like me I try to figue out what the problem is, fix it , and move on. However, when it comes to computer problems, the only thing that can be done is to take the car to the shop where it costs about $100 dollars just to diagnose the problem.
That's not fair!!!
Why do I have to pay someone $100 to find out that they just needed to reset something on the computer because it didn't register the oil change I did last month... or that there is a recall on a part that I can change out myself, basically costing me nothing to fix, except that diagnostic fee they gave me.
