Point of Rocks, MD is the junction where the Cumberland Sub splits into
the Baltimore Sub and the Capital Sub as one heads east. We caught a few trains
at this historic
station on Aug. 25, 2001.

Weaverton is between Brunswick, MD and Harpers Ferry, WV. It is a great
place to watch trains. There is public access there for the C&O Canal so you
can watch trains without any problems. You can move to either side of the tracks
using the grade crossing.

Harpers Ferry, WV. is not only a great place to watch trains, but a fun
place to hike and review some interesting Civil War history. It is one of our favorite
get-aways. A climb to Maryland Heights offers a panaramic view of the town and
the railroad.

Moving west we come to the
NEWEST
CSX addition to our collection, Shenandoah Junction,WV shot 12/29/01.
This is a real favorite
with area railfans, but you may run into folks from all over the world here.

The Keystone Sub begins at Viaduct Junction in Cumberland, MD and runs to
Sinns, PA. It provides for some nice train watching along it's route. Our
concentration is at Confluence and Ohiopyle, PA.
