"Laura? Wake up! We wanna play a prank on the guys and this is the best time!" Jessica said.
I got up and got dressed in a pair of green khaki draw-string shorts and a white tube top with a checked Gap button-down short sleeve shirt. I met all the girls downstairs and we went over our plan.
"Okay. The guys are going to be out until six. It's 11:30 right now, so that gives us six and a half hours. We're going to buy all the NSYNC posters we can find and put them up ALL over the house. Laura takes Justin's house, Lindsay-Lance's, Brittany and Christina-JC's, Alsion-Joey's, and Jessica and I will do Chris's. We'll meet back here as soon as we're done." Mandy said.
I went off to the store with Jessica, and we both bought about 30 posters. They were pretty cheap, so my bill came out to about 20$'s. We drove back to the houses and went to work. I entered Justin's house and put the posters up all over. I put 3 in the main hall so I could be sure he'd see them. I left the door open because I knew no on would be able to get into the private property except the guys and us, so it would scare him.
We all got back around 2 and went to the beach. Nick was at the studio, so I couldn't talk to him. I was really excited about our date tonight, and couldn't wait to see what he had planned.
We swam around for a while and then got out to tan. At around 4:30, the guys came home early. We heard five different screams, and burst out laughing. Eventually the guys found us laughing and knew we had done it.
"Geesh guys! You scared us to death!" JC said as we began to laugh harder. The guys eventually started to laugh and we finally stopped. It was around five so I knew I had to start getting ready. Nick had called to say he was picking me up at 7 and that I was supposed to dress comfortably yet dressy.
I took a shower and washed my hair to perfection. I went into my room and put on a simple white spagetti-strapped dress. I curled my hair and put on light make-up which consisted of glitter for cheeks and eyes, and lip gloss. It was about 6:30, so I called the girls up to see what they thought.
"Woah! You look really cute in that!" Mandy said.
"Yeah. It's simple yet stunning." Christina added.
The two had decided to stay with Lance until the rest of us weent home.
The doorbell rang and I heard Lance answer it.
"Hey Lance. Is Laura ready?"
"I dunno Nick. You know how long it takes for girls to get ready."
"Hey! We like to look good for our guys!" I said as I walked downstairs. As I reached the bottom, I saw both guys with their mouths hanging open.
"Wow! I l-o-o-o-k gorgeous." Nick stuttered.
"Woah! I better walk away before he jumps you." Lance laughed.
Nick opened the door and said, "Come on, mi' lady."
We got in his car and he blindfolded me.
"I want it to be a total surprise, so you can't take this off until I tell you to."
"K sweetie."
He started driving and didn't stop for what seemed like half an hour. He stopped the car and came over to get me.
"Take off your shoes."
"What?!"
"Take them off. You don't need them."
I slid them off and he took my hand. We started walking on sand and eventually we stopped and he took off my blindfold. I looked around and found the ocean. Nick had set up a blanket and had a baset lying on it. He had already lit two candles. He helped me down and I sat across from him at our little 'table'.
Nick had made chicken alfredo, and it was still quite hot. we had dinner rolls, lime margeritas, and roasted potatoes. For dessert he had packed various berries and a chocolate dipping sauce.
While we ate we talked about various things. He told me that Brian had talked to Jive and they said they definetly wanted to hear me. After we finished our main courses, we fed eachother the berries. After we had cleaned up everything, we went for a little walk.
Nick got down on his knew and pulled out a box. he took out a ring and took my hand.
"Laura. Will you be my girlfriend?"
I stared into his gorgeous blue eyes and said, "Definetly!"
He stood up and we kissed. Since we we were back at the blanket, he lay me down and continued kissing me. We kissed for what seemed like forever. Finally, after we were both out of breath, we stopped.
"Whew! You're a good kisser!" he said.
"So are you." I blushed.
We brought everything back to the car and he drove me home. He kissed me and then drove off because he had an early meeting the next day.
I walked into Lance's house daydreaming and accidently ran into someone.
"Sorry!" I said.
"That's okay."
I looked up and saw Justin. He helped me to my feet and we met everyone in the living room.
"Hey Laura. How was your date?" Christina asked.
"Fabulous! He packed a picnic that we ate on the beach and he asked me to be his girlfriend!"
"Aww...you're so lucky! I wish I had a guy like that!" Mandy said.
"Hmm...maybe we can work that out.." I grinned mischeviously. "Anywayz, I'm going to bed because I'm really tired!"
"Okay. See ya tomorrow." JC said.
I went upstairs, undressed, and climbed in bed. I started drifting off and went into a dream.
*The Dream*
I walked up to the hotel Nick was staying in one night on tour. I took the key and rode the elevator up to the BSB's floor. I opened Nick's door and heard something from the bedroom. I walked in and stood in shock. There was Nick in bed with.....................Alison?
*End of Dream*
I sat up in bed. What did this dream mean? Why was he with Alison? She seemed perfectly happy with Joey. It must not have meant anything.
I fell back asleep with no more dreams.
