"Laura! Stop skipping around the room! We know you're hyper, but calm down!" Jessica giggled.
"Fine!" I sat down on the sofa between Lindsay and Alison.
"So...what should we do? It's too nice today for a movie and the park is shut for that huge parade so we can't go rollerblading." Tamara sighed.
"Why don't we go to the mall and visit the guys? They said they'd be hanging out in the arcade all day. We can persuad them to a game of baseball, because you know they can never refuse!" I said.
"Sure. That's a good idea." Jen said.
We went out to my brand new Jeep and I drove to the mall. Alison, Jen, Lindsay, and Brittany were in my car, while Kate drove Tamara, Upeshka, Jessica, and Pheobe. We arrived at the mall and went straight to the arcade.
"I love Montgomery Mall so much more than White Flint! This mall has everything!" Brittany said.
We found the guys and snuck up behind them. We all took a victim and made them guess who we were.
"Hey Chris, Greg, Dan, David, Taylor, Mark, Weejia, Isaac, Peter, and Matt." I said.
"Hey Laura and everyone else." they replied.
"Can we tempt you to a game of baseball?" Alison asked.
"You know we can never say no." Taylor sais as he wrapped his arms around Jen, his girlfriend. Kate and Chris, Weejia and Tamara, and Pheobe and Greg also went out, but the rest of us were single.
"Ugh! You two are love-sick puppies!"I said.
"You're just jealous Laura!" Jen said and stuck her tongue out at me.
"Oh. Real mature Jen!"Lindsay said.
"Anywayz! Let's go to the field. And remember guys, us girls are gonna beat you as always!" I yelled as Matt ran after me.
We drove to Mark's house to get the stuff we stashed there. We headed to the field behind his house and started to play girls vs. boys as always.
"Laura steps up to the plate. She looks like she could kill anyone right now. peter throws a fastball and *whack*, she hits it way into the outfield. Lindsay scores from third and here comes Jessica scoring from second. The ball is thrown in to the second baseman, Isaac, but Laura slides and reaches the base right before he can tag her." Peter said as our "official" sports caster/pitcher.
"Go Laura!" my team cheered.
By the end of the game, the girls had won by a total of 15 to 9.
"See! Girls are better than guys!" Pheobe shouted.
