1991 Nissan GT-R R32 Skyline
The original "GODZILLA"
My GT-R is a 1991 Model that was officially brought out to Australia by Nissan. There were only 100 officially imported by Nissan, and they were available from June 1991 to February 1993. The only colours available were Burgundy, as you see on my car, Silver, and Black. These are the ONLY colours that were available from Nissan Australia.
If you own, or are looking to purchase a GT-R, and it is any other colour, (Gun metal grey and white are the most common, chances are that it is a private import model, or low volume compliance model, (commonly called "Grey Imports". There are a few things that were added to the official Australian models like an oil cooler, side indicators on the front guards, and the rear lights are different. The Imports have two round Brake lights, whilst the Aussie model have One brake light and once Indicator per side. Thera re many other differences, some minor, some major, and I will set them all out on a page shortly.
