Soulfest 2000 !!!!
This is a picture of the stage that I took from where I was sitting at Soulfest 2000. I forget what band is on stage. Soulfest is a huge outdoor Christian music festival that they have yearly at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire in August. A whole group from my church went up. It is a blast !! It rained a bit this time, but we still stayed through the whole thing. One girl that came slipped in the mud and landed on a rock and really hurt her knee.
Kraken 2000 !!!
Here is a pictue of me on Kraken. It is a new rollercoaster at Sea World in Orlando,FL. I was down there in November of 2000 for about 10 days. I had such a blast !!! I went to MANY parks down there! It was soooo cooool because the parks were not crowded at all !!! The Disney parks were the most crowded, especially Disney World. This was SUPPOSEDLY the OFF SEASON, too! I can't imagine what it would be like at the busy time ! I went to Disney World, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, MGM,Disney Quest(a big arcade), Downtown Disney, Universal Studios, City Walk, Islands Of Adventure, Busch Gardens, Wet And Wild(a water park where I got defecated on by incontinent sea gull), Sea World, Ron Jon's Surf Shop at Cocoa Beach,Kennedy Space Center and other little restaurants and random stops along the way. I went non-stop from about 7AM-11PM. I did some really cool rollercoasters. I would say that one of, if not THE best one was riding in the front car on Kraken. It was as if I was suspended in mid air and speeding forward. The Aerosmith Rockin' roller coaster at MGM was really cool, too. It was an inside rollercoaster and you are cruisin' around in this SUPER stretch limo on the way to a concert. The best part is starting out and zooming from 0-60 in like 3 seconds!! I did that one a few times. Busch Gardens had some great coasters, too! Phew, what a BLAST !!!!!!!!
Snowday
Here is a picture which I took by aiming my webcam out my window on Tuesday, February 6 2001. It just got finished snowing. You can see all the cars plowed into my drive by way of a nice little snow bank thanks to the plows!! I just got finished digging out. Oh, joy. Bring on the summer !!! The weather folks said that it was the biggest storm of the season so far, BUT winter ain't over yet !!!! At least I had an excuse to take a day off of work! ;o)
