This is a picture of a restaurant in New Hampshire called Pickety Place. I went there for lunch with a gift certificate that my stepmom gave me. Does this place look at all familiar? It was the cottage which the illustrator for the original Little Red Riding Hood book based her drawings on. It used to be a cottage but has since been turned into a restaurant. There's beautiful landscaping and gardens as well. The original Little Red Riding Hood book is out of print, and in the newer versions the illustration is different, but in the gift shop there was a copy of the original. So I flipped through the book and then went outside and took this picture from the spot where it seemed like she drew one of the pictures!!!

Here's a picture of me, Maxi Dave cruisin' around on the wave rider!! Welllllll, really it is a picture of Mini Dave while he is on sabbatical in Oregon. It sure looks like he is having a blast, dontchya think!?! He hasn't written much,though. He say's he needs to FIND HIMSELF, whatever THAT means.
