About BTAC

The Burbank Temporary Aid Center (BTAC) is a non-profit, tax-exempt, local community service organization dedicated to help meet the short-term emergency needs for food, shelter and the necessities of life for the less fortunate residents in the city of Burbank. The Burbank Ministerial Association and the Burbank Coordinating Council founded BTAC in 1974 with the purpose of coordinating and organizing assistance to Burbank residents.

Currently, three paid staff members and a group of 36 dedicated volunteers operate BTAC along with a volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of businessmen and women who work or reside within the Burbank community.
