I tell you then you turn away
Who's the stronger person here?
It's more than just rules
But it's no easy life
But who'll be the one laughing
When I'm gone?
Laughed at shouted at jeered at tried that
Sworn at torn at ripped apart stamped out
But I'm still standing just as strong
And you ask why?
If you opened up your heart
If your let your ears listen
Maybe you would hear what I have to say
But there's no easy way
I'm guided by the Lord and God of Grace.
