As a member of the Adventures of the American Mind course at Furman University, I have studied about the American Memory Collection and the Library of Congress. During this course of this class, we worked on several projects.
One of the projects was a graphic organizer which I created on Famous American Women Reformers.
Another aspect of the project was to complete a Famous American Women Reformers Lesson Plan.
Then I created the Famous American Women Reformers Wanted Posters Web Quest.
I also developed various activities to support the project. I created a Road Map of Signs for a pre-reading activity. These activities included a Compare and Contrast Concept Map, a Hot Potatoes review, and a Word Map for vocabulary which included reformer, suffragist, and abolitionist.
The final task in the project was to complete a PowerPoint presentation in html or as a PowerPoint. This was used in the introduction. I also used a "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" PowerPoint in the conclusion.
