Introduction

We have studied five famous reformers in American history. Some people would call them infamous rather than famous. You are a member of the group that feels that these famous women are infamous. As a member of this group, you will select one infamous reformer and create a Wanted Poster for that individual that will be placed on our Infamous Wall of Fame.

Task
American women had a tremendous impact on the women's rights movement.  Some of their activities made them famous and many times infamous because their activities were not always approved by mainstream America. You will read your biographies. Then your group will create Wanted Posters for one of our Famous American Women Reformers: Jane Addams, Susan B. Anthony, Bertha Honore Palmer, Elizabeth Stanton, and Harriet Tubman. This Web Quest is designed as cooperative project. You will be assigned a partner to work with you on the project.
