Write the following on a piece of plain white paper along with your full name and pin it to your skirt or suit coat:

TO PROTECT AN OBJECT:
With the first and middle finger, trace a pentagram over the object to be protected. Visualize electric blue or purple flame streaming from your fingers. Say this:

Take an iron nail, red-rusted by time and rain; on a dark night, moonless and cloudy, set down this nail upon a smallish flat stone, and with an iron hammer strike it thrice, at each stroke saying this:
CLAVUS FERREUS
MALLEUS FERREUS
FERRUM RUFULUM
FERRUM NABILIS
Score the stone thrice with the nail's point, then take the stone away quickly and bury it in the Earth far from your house. The nail should afterwards be carried with you, as a charm against evil influences and emmanations.
PROTECTION SPELL:
Write your name 9 times with the type of protection needed on a piece of parchment paper.
Dress a purple candle with either Pine or Sandalwood oil. Place 3 drops of the same oil on the parchment. Hold the paper in your hands and visualize a vibrant glow of protection.
Light incense (either pine or sandalwood). As the incense fills the room, imagine a circle of smoke. Ask Herne to enter your circle and fill you with protective strength. Light the candle and place it over the parchment paper. Say:
GIVE ME LOVING PEACE
AND PROTECT ME FROM HARM
AID ME IN THIS SPELL
WHILE I RECITE THIS CHARM
COVER ME WITH LOVE FROM THE GODDESS ABOVE
HERNE, GRANT ME PROTECION, PEACE, AND LOVE
RETURN ALL THE RUIN ADDRESSED TO ME
AS MY WILL, SO MOTE IT BE!
Repeat 9 times.
Pull the smoke circle into your body, transmitting it into positive, healing energy.
