PAK is an acronym for Providers   And   Kids.

The PAK program was started in September 2000 for license-exempt child care providers in targeted zip code areas funded by Proposition 10, THE CALIFORNIA CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FIRST ACT OF 1998 . The PAK Program provides community based child care quality enhancement for unlicensed day care providers.

The PAK program enhances early literacy by providing free books, learning materials, educational tools and licensing information to providers. Transportation to and from PAK meetings is provided.
