Chapter 46

Jeff was dancing with Lita, and Jay & Trish, Adam & Torrie, and Molly & Shane, along with Ruby and Chris were all dancing near by. Half way through the song Matt felt Angela shiver. He grinned whispering softly close to her face, "Hey..... you okay?" Matt asked whispering softly as Angela picked her head up from his shoulder and smiled at him.

"Yeah..... I’m okay." Angela said softly touching the silver chain around Matt’s neck. Matt grinned watching her avoiding eye contact with him, he hadn’t known her long, but he did know that if she was trying to lye or trying to avoid something she wouldn’t make eye contact with him. Matt sighed touching her chin gently making her eye’s met his.

"Angela you have got to be the world’s worst liar!" Matt said smiling as they both laughed. "Something bothering you?" Matt asked softly watching her sparkling eye’s as he stared at her.

Angela swallowed sighing, "No, well not exactly....... its just that...... nothing, never mind." Angela said looking back down.

Matt sighed. "Angela you told me outside earlier that I could ask you anything, you know... you can do the same with me, I mean if something’s bothering you, I want you to feel like you can talk to me about it......." Matt whispered as Angela closed her eye’s listening to Matt’s soft, sweet voice, she loved the feeling of him holding her tight.

She took a deep breath and looked up at him. "Matt is this what you really wanted?" Angela asked looking around - suddenly realizing what she had just asked she hadn’t meant to. She stared at Matt as he grinned.

"Well...... no, I mean I wanted to dance with you, but I really wanted something else...... there were just so many people around...." Matt started to say softly as Angela snuggled closer to him shivering.

Angela interrupted him, "Matt...... tell me what you want, what do you want.....?" Angela asked whispering, she could feel her heart beating faster. Her stomach felt like a ball of knots, she was nervous again. Her throat was dry and she realized that she was scared, she hadn’t had any desire to kiss anyone in such a long time, but Matt was so different. He cared about her, that was obvious, his kiss wouldn’t hurt like Ray’s had, she’d found someone who could make her happy, she cared deeply about Matt and just longed for him to delicately kiss her and whisper sweet things to her that she’d only dreamed to hear!

Matt felt so great, he was finally going to kiss Angela. He sighed staring at her. Her face was closer to his now as he met her eye’s.

"Matt tell me what you want....." Angela whispered closing her eye’s as she felt Matt’s breath on her face, and lips.

Matt swallowed taking a breath, "Angela," Matt whispered pausing, "I wanna kiss you......" Matt whispered as he felt Angela shiver in his arms. Matt looked at her as she opened her eye’s and reached up slowly touching his cheek. Angela felt her heart melting, Matt wanted her, she felt like she was going to cry she was so happy.

"Matt I want you to kiss me..... more then anything.....!" Angela whispered softly as she closed her eye’s again leaning against him, feeling like she was going to fall over.

Matt smiled holding her tighter as he slowly leaned close to her face. Gently Matt’s lips brushed against Angela’s and he moved back away. Angela gasped, she couldn’t bare much more, she felt so weak, Matt was supporting most of her weight now, but he didn’t seem to notice. If Matt didn’t kiss her soon she thought that she would go mad.

After a moment Matt heard Angela’s voice, her soft sweet whisper, "Matt...why did you stop.....?" Angela asked shaking. Matt smiled, he loved the way she whispered his name it was like music to him! He took a breath and leaned closer silencing Angela as he caught her lips and kissed her delicately.

Neither of them were rushing anything. Matt lightly kissed Angela’s bottom lip and moved to her top lip running soft kisses along the edge. Angela felt so warm and safe, Matt’s lips felt better then she could have ever dreamed! His breath was sweet and warm and she wanted to freeze time and relive these moments over and over again!
