The more I learn, the more there is to learn.
This picture is of our 15 1/2 yr old Maltese, CiCi.
Ray and I both adored her. Below is a picture
of Cici, about to begin her daily ride,
in her plush new car seat.
She had lost her hearing,
and to compensate for that loss,
she seemed to get more vocal about
what she wanted. Each and every morning,
she anticipated
her ride in the car.
She would bark at Ray
when it was close to her quality time.
She would, absolutely, not let him rest until
he obeyed her commands!
To this day,I have yet to realize,
which one enjoyed the ride more!!
But, I ask you now, is there any
question about who was boss around here?
It is with a sad heart and tear filled eyes
that I have to say , our
baby Cici is no longer with us.
She had been ill for the better part
of her life, and had lived on medications of one sort
or another for the past 10 years.
Cici had congestive heart,
arthritic back,and suspected liver cancer
After a month of not eating
and trying numerous medications
her sweet little 7 lb body could handle no more.
It is sad to say, that she did not get to take her ride
with Ray on her last day.
She passed away in my arms on Nov.7, 2006
Precious Cici, rest in peace, knowing that we loved
you so very much!
