June 15, 2006 -This
morning at 8:50am, I got an e-mail saying that I was
being removed from the WTUL air-staff. I
was told that I could contest my removal in the fall
...but what's the point. I've never gotten along with
the "hip" kids anyway.
Thanks to everyone
that listened. I did my best for the listeners &
that's what matters. Thank you to the dozens of
callers that called in on my few shows. And to the
(only) 3 negative ones... well, you got what you
wanted. More of the same old same old.

June 12, 2006 -
Now I know how Howard
Stern feels. Today I got chastised
by several members of the WTUL staff about my words
on the air and my choice of songs. The audience
loved seemed to have nothing but good things to
say... yet the staff took issue with what I had
done. Who knew intellectuals could be so sensitive.
As of 5:55pm, the show for next week IS
still on. Warp speed Mr. Sulu!
This
may end up being a podcast show before its all said
and done. Does
anyone out there know how to make a podcast? |

Next week's show will air from Noon
until 2pm, instead of the regular 2pm-4pm slot. The
DJ that usually has that slot has some business to
take care of, so I'll be going on earlier. I guess
that means I have to put pants on before Noon. |
