Boy I have done nothing on this site for quite some time now. Its April, 2009 and I am now in Abu Dhabi, UAE (United Arab Emirates) in the Middle East. The last I was in the Philippines was just a couple of days before Christmas and then in the US for a brief visit the end of February. I have been shooting some fire trucks over here in Abu Dhabi, but its difficult because the fire department falls under Civil Defense and normally photography is not allowed. They are so strict that the shirt one of the guys gave me will get me arrested if I wear it in the country.
The airliner pages may improve incase anyone was wondering. I have also been posting pictures on Friendster.com and on Flickr.com and of course Flickr is blocked here in UAE so it is dead in the water as well. Anyhow I have lots of airliner shots posted there and on the Friendster pages some shots from the Philippines and of me and friends. Well after lots of work developing the beautiful 20"x30" color fire engine poster (photograph) I found out that it went over like a lead balloon What a disappointment and at a very reasonable price for this image that is suitable for framing and features 40 very colorful fire apparatus from around the country. Check it out before it is gone forever.
