About DiC
Why we dislike DiC?
DiC so "nicely" dubbed SailorMoon. Ruining it. I give them credit
for
(a) getting me into SailorMoon and
(b) giving all us "moonies" a bad name.
They did such an awful job of dubbing it. By now,
you may be wondering what the term
"dub" means. Well, a Dub is when something has been
translated from one language to another. In
this case, DiC translated SailorMoon and from Japanese into English.
(sorry if im bothering you, but some poeple may not know)
well, because they did such a bad job of dubbing SailorMoon.
They did really bad with the names. The names in Japanese are very
pretty. But DiC killed them. DiC cut out episodes. So when you sit
down to watch SailorMoon at 4:00 pm (EST) on
Cartoon Network
you arent watching everything that you would see it, if say, you
lived in Japan and you spoke the language and ect. you would
basically see, a whole different show!!
