Welcome to the Barren County High School Winterguard homepage. Barren County High School is located in Glasgow KY. This is the second year of existence for the winterguard program here at BCHS. It is an extension of the award-winning colorguard program that performs with the BCHS marching band. We perform independently to a soundtrack recording. It is also an indoor activity and not limited to a specific gender. Many young men along with young ladies are involved in the various winterguards throughout our circuit. We perform in the Southeastern Colorguard Circuit, which involves over 150 guard and percussion units from all over the Southeastern United States including Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Last year we competed in the novice division and won various awards throughout the season. The season ended with a gold medal finish in our division at circuit championships in Chattanooga, TN and the championship title for the Novice Division for the 2002 season.
