Thursday October 6th

Lexington Christian Academy   55   Nicholas County   0
LCA has outscored their last three opponents by a cumulative score of 176-0.  Tyrell Hayden gained 199 yards on five carries with TD runs of 62, 35, and 73 yards and caught a 69 yard TD pass from Garrie Krueger.
 

Friday October 7th

Henry Clay  41   Tates Creek   14
Rod Johnson carried the ball 21 times for 206 yards with a TD and QB Salin Simpson passed for three TDs as the Blue Devils improved their record to 8-0.  For a complete write-up of this game, click [here].
 
Lexington Catholic  42   West Jessamine   12
QB Justin Burke threw for 238 yards and four TDs and has now extended his consecutive game streak of throwing at least one TD pass to 30 games.  For a complete write-up of this game, click [here].
 

Paul Dunbar  35   Lafayette   7
Will Wright (130 yards) and Chris Franklin (107 yards) each rushed for over 100 yards to lead the Bulldogs to victory.  For a complete write-up of this game, click [here].
 
Highlands  37   Madison Central   25
QB Chase Cecil passed for two touchdowns to lead the Bluebirds to victory.  Ben Guidugli caught seven passes for 196 yards.
 

Bryan Station  20   Grayson County   7
The Defenders claimed their first victory of the season as they held Grayson County to 87 yards of total offense. 
 
Bell County  33   Rockcastle County   29
Bell County rallied from a 16 point first half deficit to claim the victory on a one yard TD run by QB Kyle Nelson with four seconds remaining on the clock.  This concluded an excellent evening for the soph QB as he completed 15 of 24 passes for 319 yards with three TDs.
 
Scott County  34   Woodford County   13
Scott County held a 479-160 yard advantage in total offense in a big win over Woodford County.
 
Clark County  20   Lincoln County   13
Clark County improves their record to 7-0 as Clint Greene scores the winning TD on a seven yard run in the final quarter.
 
Louisville Trinity  43   Eastern   21
Trinity raced out to a 28-0 first quarter lead on their way to victory.  Nick Petrino had three TD passes for the victors.
 
Harrison County  24   Western Hills   6
James Custard scored on runs of 44, 12, 10, and 6 yards to lead the Thorobreds to victory.
