A small three inch fish from the Rehe Formation, Middle Jurassic Period. Collected from Jinzhou, Liaoning Province, China.

Hormotoma sp.

Gastropod from the Stewartsville Formation, Middle Ordovician Period, Wykoff, Minnesota.

Musk Ox Horn Core

This horn core was donated by Roy Wangerin of Kensington, Kansas. Roy found this horn on his property northwest of Kensington. This animal lived during the last ice age, about 10,000 years ago. The horn measures nine inches.

Cattail Stems

Cattail stems and ensheathing leaves of the species Typha. This plant lived during the Upper Oligocene/Lower Miocene Period. The display was collected from the Tropico Group, Bissell Formation, Lonely Butte, near Mohave, California.

Boreostracon floridanus

Body scute of a Glyptodont. These plates covered the body similar to the body covering on an alligator. This animal lived during the Pleistocene Period and this scute was recovered from the Fort Thompson Formation, in De Soto County, Florida.
