My life has changed a lot in the last year or so. I am a grandmother now, my job is completely different, even though I work at the same place, and my attitude about life in general has changed. My future is still bright - it's just that the path is new and I think I am less afraid to follow it eventhough I can't see what's up ahead.
For those of you who don't know me, I am a pseudo-scientist, a computer hack, a devoted wife, mother, and GRANDMOTHER, and an avid knitter. My husband still won't let me delete this picture. He says he fell in love with me because of this picture, so I HAVE to use it.
I am not a knit dweeb. I try not to follow trends, but I do want to learn new things, in my knitting and in the rest of my endeavors. I tend to knit classic items that won't go out of style in a year or two. I don't like felting. I don't enjoy eyelash yarn. I do like complicated lace, and intarsia patterns. I have been knitting since I was 8 and no, you may not ask how many years ago that was. Suffice to say that I am over 21.
