Words to some of the songs I love

My one greatest passion in this life is music. It can dictate my mood, or accentuate it. When I choose the music I want to listen to, its always governed by the mood i'm in. I listen to music 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. I'm not the kind of person who will switch music off because it irritates me, but rather, switch to another song, another station or whatever. I grew up in a house where there was always music, so from an early age, I learnt to appreciate it.

Call me foolish, but I always look for the meaning in the words of the songs. And if I happen to be listening to a song at a specific time, I could find a totally different meaning to it than I would at another time. But, the point here is, if I hear a song I like, I would probably write the words down, sing along the first 10 or so times, and then have it memorized in my mind forever. Unfortunitely, I tend to "kill" songs, because, if I like it, I will listen to it endlessly - over and over - until it loses its uniqueness. Then I move on to the next one.

What I am going to do here, is write down the words of songs that I most enjoy. Somewhere up in a cupboard somewhere, is a book i've kept for some years, with alot of words of songs written in it. I will try look for it, and, hopefully if I find it, I will really fill this page up. But in the mean time, i'm going to start with a link to "Savage Garden" who has been my flavour of the month for a couple of months now. I have the tape in my car, and have been listening to it endlessly..*s*

On this page though, i'm going to write the words down of my favourite song of all time.

I don't think alot of you will find this very interesting.....and thats ok....but this one i'm doing for me, and the love of my life....music.
