Updated Tuesday 8th May 2012.
Hello.
This, unashamedly, is a site about me: printer, publicist, publisher and sometime actor and writer. For those wishing to cut to the quick, the right hand column is a variable catalogue of what is available on this site, which is undergoing a major rebuild. So please excuse if matters occasionally go adrift
Originally created some twenty years ago, to promote my developing business interests, I took one or two charitable foundations under my wing, using them as loss-leaders to speed my web learning curve, while furthering my own business interests through their widening public appeal. Ill-health forced me to let go digitally, causing those charitable foundations, by then realising the value of my work, to manage as best they could.
Unfortunately, other people proved less than helpful to some of these entities and then tried to hold them to ransom. What I created was so comprehensive that mayhem now reins due to piecemeal changes, so I'm back into the fray to tidy up and move forward.
Facebook and Twitter have arrived but these are best used for synopses to the fuller texts I provide here, this web site being the best medium for handling the diverse way in which I involve myself in life.
Being Peewit2 on Twitter (2 because someone else had already had the idea) illustrates my rather cavalier approach to these options. I do not take these overly seriously. While Facebook provides more scope, it is not really appropriate for long and devolved discourses but I continue to explore Facebook's potential, while seeing how to make my intermittent commentary on life, as I see and live it, presented more excitingly.
My initial incursion into the public digital world for business promotional purposes led me to promote my home town (ending up as the town's mayor a couple of times) and to stand for Parliament for the Referendum Party, as well as aiding one or two charitable interests. Returning to the digital world, my intention is not only to restructure my original intention but to move forward, emphasising my own creative work, rather than selling services to others.
Inevitably, there will be some chaotic moments, as the new technology invades the site's established but archaic structure. Hopefully, these collisions will be counterbalanced by renewed links to new horizons that take me forward.
So, why would you be intersted in me? Twitter and Facebook may have introduced me to you and historically there is a diverse range of reasons for many knowing of me. The printer, publicist and publisher is concentrating on developing his own work as a writer, poet and commentator and in celebrating his years of three score and ten (nearly!). If I haven't already done it, now is the time, so I close with the humour of one who always did it, regardless!

"How do you repel boarders?"
"You stop changing the bed linen!"
