I offer a teaching programme for those who have an interest in aromatherapy either as a career or a side project. The workshops run over two days (usually a weekend but open to other options) in small groups from my home in Devon. I am proud to add that my workshop was recently recommended by Woman and Home magazine (August issue).

As well as taking part in the workshop, you will have the opportunity to see the picturesque town of Totnes in Devon.I will be offering my own home as Bed and Breakfast accomodation and for larger groups, the Bed and Breakfast run by a neighbour. If you arrive by train, you can be picked up by myself for your convenience.

The course will guide you through the essential first steps of aromatherapy including a little on its history and the benefits of the practise. There will also be practical sessions giving you the oppoortunity to practise aromatherapy massage on a volunteer. The course will include a handbook to accompany the teaching which you can keep for reference. On completion, you will have gained a good knowledge of the benefits of Aromatherapy. You will have a good understanding of the benefits and properties of many aromatherapy oils as well as feeling confident in basic massage techniques.

I have found that these weekends offer people the chance of a 'taster' with aromatherapy in order for them to realise whether it is indeed something they would like to pursue as a career or just as an enjoyable hobby. You will leave with a foundational level of knowledge, which you may later wish to build upon. This knowledge can be put to use on yourself as well as your friends and family with endless benefits.

In addition to the course, there will be an opportunity to relax. For those students who choose the bed and breakfast option I will be offering a complementary massage and reiki treatment. Not only will this give you a first hand understanding of what a treatment feels like but it will be an added treat just for you.
