Enemy Calypso - From Munster Indiana, Enemy Calypso joined together in the Fall of 1996 by the name of "Gethsemane", they recorded their first single, "Good or Bad" and played their very first concert in the backyard of George's home. As "Blind Faith" then finally "Enemy Calypso", the band had improved their song writing with such songs as: "Your Choice", "Crime Song", "Something about Birds", and the instrumental "Nemesis". They also began to form a style of improvisation. So now, only three years later, the band has changed from a teenage garage grunge band into a more unique creation by adding odd time signitures and epic-guitar-solo improvisation. They're songlists contain mostly originals with a few surprise covers (Phish, Dream Theater, etc.) and arrangements. Their style is heavy rock and a more dancable style of funk.
George - Lead singer, 4-string bass and keyboards. George's unique styles of lyric writing include subjects of good deeds, religion, pet peeves, and dreams. Raised by bands such as DaveMatthewsBand, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and The Doors, he has developed an aggressive, yet accurate approach to the bass and keyboards.
George plays a Precision Bass through a Carvin Cyclops.
Nikola - Lead guitar and songwriter. Nikola's amazing imagination toward songwriting has had him compose the majority of the band's songlist. His solos are fast and sweet. His taste in music leans to the fastpaced artists such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Jimi Hendrix.
His rig consists of a Joe Satriani signature Ibanez guitar, a Boss DS-1, a Morley "Bad Horsie" Wah, a Ernie Ball Volume, and a Carvin Vai Legacy Stack.
Nemanja - Drums/Percussion. Brother of Nikola, Nemanja is the quickest learning and most improved member of the band.
His drumbeats and fills work perfectly with the songs to create an atmosphere salubrious to a cool jam then occasionally breaking into a mind-blowing solo and taking it right back.
His set is a 6-piece Yamaha Custom w/ Sabian Cymbals.
Dan R. - Guitars, and 2nd vocals.
Kevin - Saxophone, occasional Bass. A frequent guest for the funk and blues pieces performed by the band. He showcases a great sense of improvisation and is also a member of Planet Funk.
