For years I tried to get people to leave me alone--I was often mobbbed. But now I can't even get one person to send me an email telling me if my essays suck or not. It's a different world, and a sad thing if so many people pretend they have a social life because they have MySpace and email and such, but can't find time to give an opinion on one of my articles.
