Question #4: 2/08/02

It seems that the Nintendo 64 is now a dead system (meaning that there are no new games being released anytime in the future). What are your most all-time favorite N64 games?

Answers to #4

Perfect Dark is easily one of the best N64 games, as are The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I think other great ones are Mario Kart 64, GoldenEye 007, The New Tetris, Super Mario 64, and Paper Mario. I just wish that Nintendo would have released EarthBound 64.

Question #3: 8/16/99

Everyone knows that the 64DD isn't going to be released anywhere but Japan. But just for curiosity's sake, which of the following Japanese 64DD games look the most interesting (to play) to you?
  • Doshin the Giant
  • F-Zero X-Pansion Disk (F-Zero X Expansion Disk)
  • Mario Artist Series
  • Mother 3.5 (EarthBound 64 Expansion Disk)
  • SimCity 64

Answers to #3

SimCity 64 would definitely be the most interesting to play. Second to that would probably be the Mario Artist series. (Both of these games will come out on cartridge in the US, by the way.)
--Kyle Hughes
Mother 3.5 is the most interesting of the five.

Question #2: 8/09/99

Everyone knows that RPG's and adventure games are lacking on the Nintendo 64 (even after nearly three years). What are your two most favorite of these on the N64? Here's a list of them:
  • Body Harvest (Adv)
  • Castlevania (Adv)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Adv)
  • Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (Adv)
  • Quest 64 (RPG)
  • Shadowgate 64: Trials of the Four Towers (RPG/Adv)

Answers to #2

My favorite N64 role-playing/adventure game would have to be Zelda. Nothing else comes close. Second would have to be Body Harvest.
--Kyle Hughes

Question #1: 7/26/99

NES, Super NES, and Virtual Boy are now officially dead systems. What do you think is the best NES game, Super NES game, and Virtual Boy game?

Answers to #1

The best NES game would have to be Super Mario Bros. 3. SMB3 is Mario's last major NES game, and it has so many different worlds, enemies, and power-ups, it'll make your head spin. It's simply the best NES game. The best Super NES game would most likely be The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. I mean, it's Zelda. What could be better? The best Virtual Boy game has to be Galactic Pinball. With four different levels, an appearance by Samus Aran, a battery back-up that saves your top scores, and endless action, this is definitely THE best VB game.
--Kyle Hughes
The best NES game is Kirby's Adventure. The best Super NES game is Final Fantasy III. And the best Virtual Boy game is Virtual Boy--Wario Land.
--Bryan Hughes
