Ws_ftp is a file transport protocol. Ws_ftp allows user/s to upload their site to a host through ftp. You might need to get permission from the host to be able to get this feature. You can download this program at download.com Let's get started.
When you first open ws_ftp a "session properties" window should appear, if not click on the "connect" button. You will see a window like this:
First click on "new" and you will notice that everything is cleared. Just fill in the boxes with the apporate information. Don't worry about the comments or host type. You might want to check the "save Pwd" (Pwd is short for password). when you get finished click on the "ok" button.
Ws_ftp will connect to the host. It will check your username and password, if you entered all of the right information, you will get in. If not, you might want to try back in 5 minutes, the host could be experience some problems, or reconnecting to the internet.
You should be connected. Let's expose you to the enviroment, and go over some basics things.

The above image is a thumbnail, click on it for a larger picture. I changed the gradient of the image so their is two sections. Let's get started. First of all you will notice that their are to sides, Dark and Light, or right and left. The Left side looks in your computer for the files to upload, While the right side is connected to the server. From their you can upload the desired files you wish. You might need to click on a folder with the name "public bin" or something along that lines. I strongly recommend you talk with your host and ask him/her "What folder do I upload my files to?".

The Orange is simply how you wish to transfer the data, for most pages use "Binary". When upload cgi files you may need to set it to "ASCII".
The CHMOD feature can be activated by clicking on the uploaded file (file that was already uploaded), right mouse click, and go to CHMOD.
That should do it, if I left out anything, or you want to know more about a feature, please e-mail me. I will post the question as well as the answer here.
