Dear Lord, please hear our pleas
Heal America's hearts from tragedy
Welcome our loved ones into your home
Give us assurance we're not alone
Keep careful watch over her soldiers
Proudly sacrificing their lives for war
Keep our country safe from all danger
Don't let terrorists again destroy her.
Give her leaders strength and power
To rebuild again our beautiful towers
Help her President with his decisions
Please give assurance to all Americans
This is my first war, and I'm terrifed
My heart goes out to all those who died
Keep Americans safe out of all harm's way
Give us strength to get through each day
Give us strength for what's to come
Please Help us heal when all is done
Please Lord, help us be safe again
