The Haunting
By: Anonymous

The scene opens at a gothic iron gate, it's spikes glisten in the moonlight, as the camera moves down to focus on a large monogrammed letter "L" inside of a heart shaped border on both sides of the gate. The focus moves inside the gate and through a thicket of tall oak trees, vines, shrubs and over grown flowers down a path that leads up to a pair of iron French doors with the same letter inscribed on them. Lights can been seen shining through all of the windows in the massive mansion. The camera pans into a little girl's room decorated from floor to ceiling in cotton candy pink. Lace curtains dance in the wind that comes into the bay window, and a small blonde haired female child is sitting on the floor playing with a miniature version of the mansion. She speaks but only in French acting out a scene with her dolls in what appears to be the living room. The camera switches to the grand living room of the mansion where adults just as those in the dolls house are fighting just as the child was acting out. Shouts echo through the mansion in French. Foot steps can be heard rumbling through out the hall way upstairs walking swiftly towards the room where the little girl is playing. In her room, she suddenly drops her dolls freezes and in terror looks in the direction of the door way. A large man's wrinkled hand can be seen using a key to unlock the door. Suddenly the door of the little girl's room is flung open by her gray hairdo father, who looks old enough to be her grandfather. He walks over to her furiously and grabs her arm, pulling her up to him. the lights fade as we hear her cries. "Non papa, non aujourd'oui, no!!!!! she wailes as we hear the bed room door slam behind them.

In the Mckinnon house, we see Marley sleeping restlessly on her sister's couch. As she begins to toss and turn, we hear her muttering undistinguishable French. Tyrone stirs from his sleep in the chair across the room and sits up. He wipes his eyes and gently calls her name. "Marley?, Marley are you okay? Hey sleeping beauty are you having a night mare?" He smiles and walks over to the couch where she lay. He gently strokes her cheek with his hand. She screams and sits straight up in terror. Tyrone sits on the couch next to her and holds her rocking her in his arms gently, and kissing her forehead. Marley's cheeks are scarlet with embaressment, her entire body trembles with fear, and then she begins to cry softy buring her head in Tyrone's chest.

Steven and Kirland rush downstairs, concerned about aunt Marley.

"What happened Tyrone?" Steven asks as he sits down next to Marley on the couch. Marley keeps her head burried in Tyrone's chest, still crying and shaking uncontrollably. "She just had a nightmare, go back up to bed boys, she will be okay." Kirkland walks over to Marley and hugs and kisses her. "It will be okay Aunt Marley, we men will protect you." Marley lifts her head, snifts softly and hugs Kirk. "I know you will, good night, I am sorry I frightened you." The boys go back up stairs and get into their beds.

Tyrone and Marley embrase on the couch down stairs. Tyrone reaches over and turns the lamp on the side table on. Marley has tears streaming down her scarlet cheeks, but she has stopped trembling. Tyrone brushes her hair back and in a soft voice asks "Is there any thing you want to talk about?" She swallows very hard and more tears stream down her red face. "What was the nightmare about? I want to help you anyway I can." "The fire, just the fire that's all. I still have nightmares about the hospital fire that burned my face. I am okay now that I am in your arms, I know that I am safe." The scene ends with a close up of an anniversary clock on the mantle piece in the Mckinnon house, the time is 10:45 PM.

The scene changes to the air port. We see rows of long windows behinds rows of seats, lights can be seen flashing from planes leaving and entering the facility. An elderly grey haired gentle man dressed in a white linen suit enters the air port, walks over to the bagage claim center and stands with his back facing the camera. We see him reach for two large bags, then sit them down on the floor and check his watch. He then focuses his attention on the door way by which he entered the air port. A petite lady dressed in white with long blonde braided hair enters the airport accompanied by what appears to be a younger lady also dressed in white but her face is covered by a large brimmed hat with a veil attached. The first woman appears to be helping the other to walk into the airport. The man looks at them and says "Hurry it up, Nicole, we don't have all night!!"

We see the three of them get into a large limosine, and we finally see the man's face. It is Reginald Love, we also see that he has his daughter Nicole with him. But we never see the other woman's face, she keeps the hat and veil on.

At the Harbor Club, Donna is doting over Vicky and Jake and the awaited birth of her twin grandchildren. Vicky and Jake are sharing a table with Paulina and Joe. The four discuss the ups and downs of parenting, pregnancy and generally marrage.

Paulina:  "So have you guys decided on any names for the babies?"

Jake:  "Jake Jr, and Jakie"

Everyone laughs.

Vicky:  "Seriously, we were thinking about Micheal and Shawn if they are boys, and Libby and Kimberly if they were girls."

Paulina: "Libby is an odd name/"

Vicky:   "It would be in honor of my grandmother, and mom's mother Elizabeth Love.  Libby short for Elizabeth."

Donna:  "I don't think that is a good idea."  Donna gets up and walks away from the table.

Vicky:  calls after her, and goes to donna at the bar.  "What's wrong mom?"
