Labyrinth - 1986

Journey into the fantastical world of Labyrinth, starring David Bowie and a cast of incredible creatures created by Jim Henson and produced by the Master of Myth George Lucas.

Frustrated with baby-sitting on yet another weekend night, Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) – a teenager with an active imagination – summons the Goblins from her favorite book, “Labyrinth,” to take her baby half brother away. When little Toby actually disappears, Sarah must follow him into the world of the fairy tale to rescue him from the wicked Goblin King (David Bowie)!

Guarding his castle is The Labyrinth itself – a twisted maze of deception, populated with outrageous characters and unknown dangers. To get through it in time to save Toby, Sarah will have to outwit the King by befriending the very Goblins who protect him, in hopes that either loyalty isn’t just another illusion in a place where nothing is as it seems!

The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns - 1999

American businessman Jack Woods rents a cottage on the enchanted Emerald Isle which is occupied by a family of leprechauns. Leprechaun Seamus Muldoon and his son crash the fairies' costume ball and Muldoon's son falls in love with fairy Princess Jessica. Their love re-ignites a feud between the leprechauns and the fairies, which escalates into a war. The Grand Banshee warns of terrible consequences and Jack Woods is chosen to make peace. Woods interrupts his own romance with an Irish beauty to help, and becomes involved in a strange and wonderful magical adventure.

The Neverending Story - 1984

Chased by school bullies, reprimanded by his father for daydreaming too much Bastian is lost in his own world. Bastian escapes school bullies one rainy day by hiding in an old used book store. After explaining his predicament to the old clerk Bastian notices a large leather bound book with a symbol of two snakes intertwined into an emblem. Soon after the clerk warns Bastian that this book is not for him Bastian, rushes away with it "borrowing" it, while the clerk is in another room. Taking refuge in the attic of his school Bastian opens the book, and a world of fantasy. Learning that the wonderous, beautiful land of Fantasia is being destroyed by a terrible "Nothing" Bastian is taken deeper into the story. Soon discovering the ChildLike Empress is deathly ill, the cause; she needs a new name. A young warrior named Atreyu is called and Bastian follows his adventures, unknowing that he, himself is slowly being written into the mysterious book. Soon realizing that he is now written in the book Bastian realizes that the only one who can save Fantasia is him.



The Dark Crystal - 1982

The Dark Crystal is a masterful live – action fantasy starring Jim Henson’s most imaginative creatures ever! Directed by Jim Henson and Frank Oz and produced by Gary Kurtz, The Dark Crystal brilliantly weaves a timeless myth of Good and Evil!

In another time, The Dark Crystal - a source of Balance of Truth in the Universe – was shattered, dividing the world into two factions: the wicked Skeksis and the peaceful Mystics. Now, as the convergence of the three suns approaches, the Crystal must be healed, or darkness will reign forevermore!

It’s up to Jen – the last of his race – to fulfill the prohecy that a Gelfling will return the missing shard to the Crystal and destroy the Skeksis’ evil Empire. But will young Jen’s courage be any match for the unknown dangers that await him?



The Chronicles of Narnia

The Chronicles of Narnia set is 4 movies based upon a series of books (7 books total) by C.S. Lewis – "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", "Prince Caspian", "Voyage of the Dawn Treader", and "The Silver Chair".

The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe - 1988

In World War, the four Pevenses children: Peter Susan, Edmund and Lucy are evacuated from London to the country house of an eccentric old professor. There, bored and restless, first Lucy and Edmund, and then all four of the kids make their way through an attic wardrobe in Narnia, a magical land of mythical creatures and talking animals. But Narnia is not perfect: it's always winter and never Christmas since the White Witch began her rule. And there are evil creatures as well as good, and a traitor in their midst. Only the return of Aslan can bring victory in the coming battle to win spring and freedom back to Narnia.




Prince Caspian & The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - 1989

Young Prince Caspian of Narnia wonders and dreams about the old days of Narnia when animals talked, and there were mythical creatures and four rulers in Caer Paravel. But his uncle and aunt don't like to hear him thinking of such things, and plan to murder him and take his throne. Caspian's tutor, Dr. Cornelius manages to save him, and not only teach him about the old ways, but bring him into the real Narnia and introduce him to the real Narnia. But Caspian's plight is desperate, and he must use the legendary horn to call help from another world: Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy.



The Silver Chair - 1990
Eustace is sent to a horrible school, and finds a friend in Jill Pole, who's also running from the bullies and looking for a place to hide. The two of them are magically transported from the garden shed into the magical world of Narnia, where they are entrusted with a task by Aslan: to rescue the king's stolen son, Prince Rillian. Together with Puddleglum the Marshwiggle, they must travel north across the mountains, dodge dragons and giants, and journey down into the earth itself to rescue Rillian from the Green Lady.

Ya know - The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King!!
The ones that Peter Jackson kicked his butt to make three of the Greatest Fantasy movies EVER!!!
