Find a half hour to sit and observe. What do you smell, see, hear? Focus on one of those and put yourself in its place. What are you experiencing?

PURPOSE: To attune, with sensitivity, to current surroundings.

HINT: As with many of these exercises, a quiet space, without interruptions, is preferable.

Facets of Light - Aura of Beauty

Stepping into the depths of the refractor, we sense the intensity of the tiny point that grasps the light and separates the color. The intensity is too brilliant to gaze upon.

Riding a beam of color from its origin to its surrounding world, we see the brightness expand. As the facet travels beyond our physical presence, it appears to lose its essence as the color expands into the surrounding ethers.

Each photon continues to flow outward as ripples on water, offering its brilliance and influence throughout its expanding world.

The aura of beauty lingers with each fragment it touches. The rainbow penetrates every aspect of life. We offer gratitude and appreciation for this beauty.

Delights of Autumn

The first color of Autumn is as a breath of fresh air as I go for nature walks, feeling the scrunch of leaves beneath my feet, watch the squirrels scampering about to store their winter larder, watching yellow leaves lazily floating on the water.

I sit quietly to envision tree pixies, faeries and elves dancing through the colored foliage. They are a part of the wholeness. They teach peace and harmony.

Have you observed a mischievous tree elf waving at you with a colored leaf when there is not a breeze stirring? Have you gotten a glimpse of the elves playing hide-and-seek through the mossy undergrowth of the woods? Have you laughed with the dancing faeries as they glisten across the lake when the sun touches their gossamer gowns?

My pilgrimage comes into focus. I begin to understand my ongoing exploration - one of sacredness in its relationship with my life. I receive assurance and contentment that my path embraces and affects all areas of my life. I continue my journey.
