He was in the 1850 census of Callaway County, MO, 1870 census of Pike County, Illinois and then to Pettis County, Missouri in 1872.He purchased land from J.M. Pembleton near Elk Fork, Missouri, Also by land transactions listed in Adair County at one time.
	pp.964-965, Elk Fork Township, says "Walnut Branch Baptist Church was organized in 1834".
	Joel C. Ham's biog page 972 says "Mr. Ham is a member of the Walnut Branch Baptist Church; is clerk of the church at the present time. Has been Justice of the Peace for several years.

If not paid the interest would compound and accrue.
