According to Star magazine, Destiny's Child star Beyonce Knowles has explained to pals why she's staying so silent on her love life, and reports she's dating Jay-Z. "She doesn't want to jinx it," a pal said. "She told me: 'If you ever hear me talk about it in public, it'll be after I'm married." Meanwhile, a friend of Jay says, "Jay is happy, and so are all of us. He's looked a long time for the right girl, and he got lucky. Beyonce is a beautiful person."

Eminem's former bodyguard Byron Williams is again speaking out on Slim Shady, saying the rapper has hired six former CIA men to protect him from gangland assassination attempts after his bitter feud with Ja Rule. MuchMusic reports that the 24-year-old man from Hamilton, Ontario, shot outside Tuesday night's 50 Cent/ Jay Z concert in Toronto has died. Msemaji Granger was approached in the Molson Amphitheatre parking lot by at least two men at around 10:20 p.m. as the show was ending. Granger was shot at close range in the upper body and head, "It would appear from the evidence at the scene that this person was targeted," said Cory Bockus, a homicide detective sergeant.
