Above the courtyards and streets of New Orleans Square, quietly nestled away from
public view during an ordinary day at Disneyland, French doors open to balconies that overlook Disney's Rivers of America. Walt Disney wanted a special place where he could entertain friends, business associates, and dignitaries. Walt and his wife went to New Orleans to select antiques for the place. He passed away 5 months before completion of the project. In May 1967 "Club 33" openned its doors to private members and their guests. Club 33 has about 400 members and the waiting list is about 2 years long. |
