The words sent to me still fresh and I quote I could no longer be with you
Tormenting words pierced like a knife, my heart became numb
I stared dismayed at my screen as tears in my eyes continue to descend
My whole world collapses, everything fell apart
The light at the end of the tunnel once so close and so bright,
Suddenly, disappeared and all I see is complete darkness.
I don't know if ever I will understand why
We were so in love, so many memoirs shared
Our precious chats and the habitual frequent love letters.
All for nothing, for one quick second vanished into thin air
Once I believe in you…once I believe in "US"
Once I believe all your promises of an everlasting affection
But those were mere words passed on through the screen
Nothing more nothing less, far from the truth
For someone so vulnerable and naive
It's so easy to fall in love with words, yet forgotten that words can't love
I know that now, wish I knew it sooner
Maybe then I wouldn't be hurting so much now
