Step one for construction of the rudder is laying out the outer dimensions of the rudder box on the grid table.

Fuselage jig welding table progress. 19 feet 2 inches long by 6 feet 4 inches wide, this jig welding table will be marked and used for the production of several different fuselage patterns, about 85 percent complete.
