Megaman Xtreme 2: Soul Eraser Walkthrough

This game is freaking awesome. I only beat it with Zero just to be able to put it in my list of MM games I have beaten. But that was the Japanese version of the game. I neglected to play this game for a long while, but when I decided to give it a try again, it was definatly worth it. This is one of the best X games, and one of my favorite, to be honest with you. You start off by either picking Zero or X. You can only access four bosses, and the four you get depends on which character you picked. If your Zero, you get Wire Sponge, Blast Hornet, Overdrive Ostrich, and Tunnel Rhino. X puts you up against Neon Tiger, Volt Catfish, Launch Octopus, and Flame Mammoth. After You beat those four bosses, you go on to fight either Gareth or Berkana, your new nememises. Now you can also switch between characters. After you beat them you can save and start the other mission. What? No Sigma? No, they couldn't not have Sigma! That would be insane! After you complete the other mission, you unlock the Extreme Mode. In this mode, you can switch between characters right from the start. There are now the full eight bosses which must defeated before you go on to the bosses. Beat Gareth or Berkana, and you find out that good ol' Sigma was behind it all. You now do the traditional re-fighting of the bosses, and move on to Sigma himself. This is the toughest Sigma boss EVER!! The first form isn't so bad but the second is nuts! You need 2 full sub-tanks and to switch between characters to win this one. After you beat this LONG fight you unlock the Boss Attack mode. You can either fight the eight bosses from Xtreme 2, or eight bosses that wern't in the game, such as Chill Penguin. The object is to try to get the fastest time. In this game, you can get both the Shoryuken and Hadouken moves from X1 and X2. This game is really awesome for a Game Boy Color title, and I think it's the best game on the system besides the 3 Zelda games. This game will provide hours of pure Megaman fun for anyone who even remotley likes action games. I give it 9.5/10. It's not as good as some of the PSX or SNES games, but it's almost perfect for Game Boy.
