"Can I Answer You?"

C.J. Ingerson
2/24/99

Verse 1
********

As my fingers gently
on the keyboard fall
I think of thoughts lovingly
as I listen to the Master call.

Verse 2
********

Each day it is stronger
more and more He stays
then on the keyboard longer
my fingers gently feel His rays.

Verse 3
********

Which is special just now?
Is this for a particular one;
why did He choose me, how?
How much I truly love His Son.

Verse 4
********

Can I answer you in which to pick
which are personal is it for me to say?
As the words are like reading a script.
Thus I could sit and type each long day.

Verse 5
********

Please I cannot choose which to send.
Then which to ever hold for all have a reason.
Each written for those who are a friend.
Some to warm a strangers heart in season.

Verse 6
********

It is lost when I learned to write in this cloud
weaving first one word and then adding another
this may sound too simplistic to say aloud.
I know some are for me, my sister and brother.

Verse 7
*******

Please accept my apology for I cannot choose;
a poem to share when I know it is there.
It could be someone else who would lose;
To judge this would not allow mercy to be fair.
