Terms and Definitions of L.A.R.P.

L.A.R.P. is an acronym for Live Action Role Playing.
This is simply a type of roleplaying wherein the person playing the character actually dresses as, and equipments (see no-touching rule: NO WEAPONS, NO DRINKING, NO DRUGS, etc) themselves as the character. They then take up the role and play it through until a time out is called, the game ends or they drop OOC (Out Of Character).
It's a form of ad-lib acting, but one major rule instituted by White Wolf (and you can find this in many of their games, not just their LARP's) is the No-Touching rule. This is so that those involved don't get hurt or otherwise Involved in things which could be hurtful.
