The mission of the River Road CHURCH OF CHRIST is to provide high quality teaching of God's Word, centered on the commandment of Jesus Christ to preach His gospel to all creation; to baptize those who believe and obey His gospel; and to teach those, who have been baptized, into His Kingdom (Matt. 28:19-20). 
Emphasis is placed on ministries that provide for meeting the spiritual and physical needs of people world-wide.
In recognition of the increased complexity of our society and the varied issues confronting the Church of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today, the River Road CHURCH OF CHRIST continues to develop and perfect ministries which reflect the greatest need for the greatest number of people.
In addition to providing high quality teaching of God's Word, the River Road CHURCH OF CHRIST has a major commitment to provide support systems that Christians need to achieve success.  These systems 'include evangelism, edification and benevolence.
The River Road CHURCH OF CHRIST, strives to maintain a New Testament base in its philosophy and purpose, thereby ensuring that no person is denied the opportunity to become a member of the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ and to function in the body so as to please God (I Cor. 12:18).
