¤ Chapter 18 ¤

We all individually made our way out to the bus where screaming girls could be heard due to the fact that they could see all of us boarding the bus. The tour was underway and things were off to a great start. Each night after a concert we went to an after party each better than the previous one. We travel through several states going North and soon found ourself in Toronto where we met up with Erica who went to both of their concerts while we were there. JC was so glad to be spending time with her once again. Every moment he had he was kissing her and she returned them with great pleasure. We all hung out for about 3 days but it was finally time to pick up where we left off.

After Toronto we headed back down to the US and continued the tour. One week later we found ourself in Pittsburgh. Chris made it a point to hang out with some of his family and friends while we were in town. Everyone wanted to get out and look around the town but I just stayed in my bunk and slept. All the touring had gotten to me and I found myself feeling nauseous and throwing up a lot. This active lifestyle and moving around so much was not agreeing with me at all. All I wanted to do was sleep. We were headed towards DC for a few days as of tomorrow so I decided to call Kristin.

“Hello?” Kristin answered.

“Hey Kris.” I replied.

“Jen, hey how’s it going?”

“It’s ok I guess, it’s all just so busy and it’s literally making me sick and tired. In fact I’m laying in this bed right now while everyone else is out.”

“Aw, you poor girl. Are you taking anything?”

“No, I was thinking maybe if I go to the doctor tomorrow he can give me something to calm me down. I’ve probably got motion sickness too from being on this moving bus all the time.”

“Yeah that’s a good idea.”

“Yeah, so since I don’t have my car here, and don’t want to really bother my dad, do you think you could maybe give me a ride then we could go hang out at the mall or something.”

“Sure thing, so what time?”

“Well my office can usually get me an appointment whenever so how about 11 a.m. We’re gonna be at that big hotel on Rt. 88.”

“Rt. 88, ok I’ll be there. Well listen girl I’ve gotta go now but tell Joey I miss him and can’t wait to see him tomorrow.” “Ok, Thanks Kristin, Bye.” I hung up the phone and took a little nap.

“Miss Hunter, the doctor will see you now.” the nurse said peaking through the doorway. I got up and followed. As usual I sat in the cold room for at least half an hour wishing Kristin had come back so I didn’t start talking to myself. But unfortunately it was too late and I found myself singing/whispering to myself. Finally the doctor came in.

“Hello Jennifer, how are we doing today?” She asked.

“I’m ok.”

“So what seems to be the problem?”

“Well I’ve been on tour for the past like 2 weeks or so and a few days into the trip I started getting all nauseous and puking at least 5 times a day. And I’m really tired all the time. I was thinking maybe I have a weird motion sickness since we’re on the road a lot.”

“That’s a very likely possibility.” she replied. “It’s been about a year or so since you’ve been here so I need to update your files, I just have to update a few questions.” She said picking up her clip board and pen.

“So how old are you now?”

“I’m 17.”

“Do you drink, do drugs, etc.?”

“Nope”

“Are you sexually active?”

“Umm...” I hesitated “Yes.”

“When was your last menstrual cycle?”

“Excuse me?” I asked. I thought for awhile then told her. She asked a few more questions then decided to continue.

“Ok well in order for me to correctly analyze your problem you’re gonna have to do this.” She said handing me a cup. I rolled my eyes. I always thought it was quite informal to make you pee in a cup to find out what you had. There had to be something more efficient. I took the cup and gave her what she wanted. Fifteen minutes later she returned to the bitter cold room.

“Ok well here are 2 prescriptions for you, they’ll help your headaches, nausea, help control the vomiting.”

“Great” I replied.

“I’m not done. BUT they won’t make this go away.”

“What? Why? What’s wrong with me? Am I going to die or something?” I joked.

I walked out into the waiting room where Kristin had been waiting for over an hour.

“About time. So did you get something?” She asked.

“Yea, take me to the pharmacy so I can get this stuff, please.” I said.

I gave the pharmacist my prescriptions and Kristin and I walked to the magazine rack. It always found it funny to walk in a grocery store, or pharmacy and look at magazines that have my boyfriend on the cover. The articles were always a great laugh too. I picked up 3 of the teenybopper magazines along with my medication and purchased them. Kristin and I drove back to the hotel where the bus was. She followed me onto the bus and sat down to talk to Joey.

“Kris, thanks for taking me. I’m gonna take this stuff and lay down.” I said.

“It’s no problem, hopefully the medicine will help.”

I laid down in my bunk and fell asleep.

Three hours later when I awoke we were at the venue where the guys were going to perform. I stumbled off the bus still a bit exhausted and walked to the backstage area where I found Tiffany, Ben, Alissa, Alana, along with my Dad and Seth. I ran over to them and gave them all huge hugs. Especially my dad.

“I really miss you dad.” I said looking up at him.

“I’ve missed you too.” he replied.

“Hey, can I talk to Seth alone?” I asked my dad.

“Oh sure go ahead. I’ll just stay here.”

“Thanks I said.” Seth followed me to a corner about 25 feet away still in vision of everyone. Lance’s eyes followed me as I sat down and talked to Seth. I saw Justin and Tiffany walk to the empty bus as I began to talk to Seth.

“So how’s Orlando been?” Seth asked.

“It’s ok I guess, it’ll never be Maryland but I’ll survive. Listen Seth I really need to talk to you and tell someone this, you have to promise on our friendship that you won’t tell anyone! I mean not a soul.”

“You know me, I can keep a secret, what is it.”

“Well...” I started as I felt tears swelling in my eyes and gently gliding down my face.

“Jen, don’t cry. What is it?”

I couldn’t speak I just wiped the tears from my face and placed my head in my hand still crying harder and harder.

“Jen, come on now. What is it? It can’t be that bad you have to cry like you are.” he said lifting my chin up and looking into my red eyes.

“Well, Kristin took me to the doctor’s today cause I haven’t been feeling well since the tour started and I thought it was motion sickness and increase in activity or something. The doctor said that could have something to do with it but I’m...” I trailed off and began crying again.

“You’re what?” Seth asked.

“I’m pregnant.” I said losing complete control.

“Oh my god. Jen it’s going to be ok please don’t cry.” he said standing up and grabbing my hands to pull me to my feet. He opened his arms and embraced me in a hug. I continued to cry. He held me for more than a minute until I let go.

“Now Seth, please don’t tell anybody. I don’t know what I’m going to do yet.”

“You’re not going to tell your dad?” He asked.

“No, not anyone.”

“Jen?” he asked.

“What?”

“Does Lance know yet?”

I shook my head “no”

“You have to tell him. You can’t hide this from him. He can help you. He seems like a really sweet, caring guy who obviously loves you very much.”

“I know, and I love him. But I’m just scared for some reason that since I’m not joking this time he’s going to hate me and leave me. I just can’t have him leave.”

“He won’t. I’ve seen the way he looks at you. He wouldn’t do that to you.”

“I’ll tell him. Just not now. I need some time to just sort things out first.”

“Ok you do that. If you need me I’m here for you.”

“Thanks Seth, no wonder you’re one of my best friends.” I said with a smile.

“Always and forever.” he replied as he wiped the tears from my eyes. “Now lets get back over there, come on he said.” grabbing my hand and dragging me over to where everyone was.

Everyone noticed that I had been crying but luckily to my advantage no one had said anything to me.

~Meanwhile on the bus~ Justin wrapped his arms around Tiffany and kissed her on the forehead.

"I missed you so much." She whispered.

"I missed you too."

Tiffany pushed her lips to his and they kissed. Justin's tongue slipped inside her mouth and she started to breath harder. They both had missed this and each other so much. Each kiss got more and more intense.

Justin grabbed her hand and led her into the bathroom, it was the only place where they could be alone.

Justin's hands slid up her shirt and fondled her breasts. She moaned at the feeling and broke away from Justin's kiss so he could pull her shirt off. He lifted her up onto the counter and kissed her neck, she closed her eyes and laid her head back. He reached around and unhooked her bra and it slid to the floor. She got Goosebumps as his tongue roamed her skin. "God I love you, Justin."

"I love you too." He replied as he looked up and her and kissed her deeply. She pulled his shirt off and kissed his muscular chest. He lifted up her skirt and pulled her underwear off and his finger slid around her clit and she moaned loudly.

"Man they are at it again." JC said as he heard Tiffany moan when him Joey and Chris got on the bus to get their girlfriends concert tickets.

"Well at least we don't have to hear Justin complain about not getting laid anymore." Joey replied. " I mean they fuck everytime they see each other."

Justin inserted his finger inside her and she laid her head on his shoulder as she breathed heavier and heavier. He pulled his fingers out of her and she unzipped his pants and pulled her close to him. Justin slowly inserted his hard member inside her.

"Oh!" Justin moaned. "Damn!" He inserted himself all the way and pumped her slowly as she wrapped her legs around him and yelled.

"Oh my god! Justin!" She cried out as he pushed in harder and faster.

"Fuck me!" Justin yelled as he was about to cum. Tiffany grabbed his ass and pulled him closer to her.

"You.. are.. so.. good." She said breathlessly as he came inside her.

"Oh my god! Damn!" He pumped her really fast as she came to her orgasm. He withdrew from her and she laid her head against him. They were both tired and drained from all the action. Justin zipped his pants up and pulled his shirt on as she got dressed. Tiffany fixed her messed up hair a little bit and they both left the bathroom. Everyone was starring at them.

"Well it sounds like you 2 had fun." Joey stated.

"Hell yea! We always do!" Justin replied.

"I think we will just go lay down for awhile now." Tiffany said and they walked to Justin's bunk.

"Christ, I think they do need to rest. They looked like they were going to pass out. Wish I could get fucked that good." Chris said when Tiffany and Justin were out of earshot.

After the concert my dad invited me to come stay at home, so I accepted. I figured I could sort things out being in a more peaceful environment.

The following morning my dad drove me to the hotel where we were staying till that night.

“Well it’s been great seeing you again.” I said.

“Are you sure you don’t want to come home?” he asked.

“Dad, I miss you I really do but I’m growing up and I can’t just come back home like that. I need to get out and do different things. That’s what Orlando offers me.”

“Ok. But you’re going to visit me.”

“Yes dad, at Christmas. But don’t forget I’ll see you at Jeremy’s wedding in September.”

“ok. Well I need to be getting to work. See you later, sweetie.”

“Bye dad.” I said giving him a hug. When he walked away I dug through my purse for the key to the room Lance and I were sharing. I found it and made my way inside. I noticed Lance was in the shower from the light shinning from the 1/4 open bathroom door.

“Lance, I’m back.” I yelled through the door.

“Hey Jen, I’ll be out in a few.”

I laid down on the bed and fell asleep. I woke up when Lance sat down beside me on the bed.

“Hey.” I said.

“Hi. Have a good time?” he asked.

“Yea, it was ok. It was peaceful.”

“That’s good. Listen we’re moving out of here sooner than expected so we need to meet everyone out in the bus in about an hour.”

“Oh ok, works for me.”

“Good. Listen you wanna go for a walk? They have a park with a lake right behind here.”

“Sounds great” I said with a smile. We left the hotel and walked to the park and sat on a picnic table overlooking the lake.

“Jen?” he asked. I looked over at him. “Are you ok?” he asked.

“Yeah I’m perfectly fine, why?”

“Cause I saw you crying yesterday when you talked to Seth, I was just wondering what had you so upset.”

“Oh that. It was nothing. I was just upset on how much I miss being home and how Orlando was so different. Stupid stuff actually.” I lied not wanting to tell him just yet.

We walked back to the hotel parking lot and boarded the bus where everyone was waiting. Everyone went to the back to watch TV while JC, and myself stayed in our bunks and Tiffany settled in. I found myself crying into my pillow once again that day still not believing the reality of it all.

“Jen, what’s wrong?” Tiffany asked peaking through the curtains.

“Nothing, I’m fine.” I replied.

“Don’t lie. We’re friends come on you have never held back something from me.”

“Well I have to now Tiff. I just don’t wanna talk.”

“Ok but when you’re ready to tell me I’ll be back there watching TV with everyone.”

“Ok, bye.” I said shutting the curtains. I needed to tell someone else what was going on so I grabbed the phone and dialed my Aunt’s number and got nothing but the answering machine.

“Aunt Lindsay, this is Jen. Umm I have something really important I need to talk to you about. Let’s just say this is the absolute most stressful thing to have happened in my 17 years so far, so please give me a call back as soon as you get this no matter the time. Thanks. I love you. Bye.” I said hanging up the phone . As soon as I put the phone back in its place I laid my head in my pillow and started to cry once again. This was going to be the hardest thing I would have to tell people. My feelings were divided up so much I couldn’t tell one from the other. Feelings of being ashamed, scared, excited, and confused rushed through my body faster than a speeding train.

“Jen?” Jc asked from outside the curtain.

“Yea? You can open the curtain.” I replied wiping my eyes so there was no evidence of the tears. He opened the curtains and sort of laid on the bed.

“What’s wrong with you?” he asked in a caring manner.

“Nothing.”

“Come on Jen you can tell me.”

“Nothing JC, Just leave me alone for awhile, please?”

“Ok.”

A few minutes later Lance came to my bunk and joined me. He knew something was wrong with the hurt in my voice. I insisted once again nothing was wrong. I fell asleep in his arms. Not too long after I had fallen asleep Lance went back to the room where everyone was hanging out.

“Tiffany? You and Jen are really tight. Do you know what’s wrong with her? I know it has to be something more than her being upset about Orlando.” Lance asked Tiffany who was wrapped in Justin’s arms.

“Nope, she insisted it was nothing. So I dunno.” “Ok, well if any of you find out let me know. It really has me worried.” He said watching the TV.

“Jen, listen I heard you talking to your Aunt, you won’t tell Tiffany and Lance said he saw you crying when you were talking to Seth. So it is not nothing. Tell me now” Jc said coming back for more.

“I....I just can’t tell you JC. I can’t tell anyone.”

“Come on Jen. I swear to God I won’t tell a soul. Not Lance, not Erica, not anyone.”

“I want to tell you so bad JC but I just don’t know.”

“Come on please? You need someone to talk to I can tell. We’ve been buddies for awhile now. You can trust me.”

“And you won’t tell anyone? I swear JC if anyone finds out I don’t know wha...”

“I won’t tell anyone. I swear.” he said taking my hand and looking me dead in the eyes. “Now pour it out, what’s eating at you?”
