On a dutch site it is impossible not to mention this one:Stichting Blokfluit. This is a internationally oreinted site of Dutch origin (Walter van Hauwe and Paul Leenhouts). A bit intransparent, but certainly worthwile. Attention: for full access you need to be subscribed...

Han Hartog's medieval, renaissance & baroque music homepage: A well organised site, fast to load, with a good deal of information about early music and specifically the recorder.

A very wellpresented page is Il Flauto Dolce, which used to be 'The contemporary recorder', by C. Sebastian Loh (Pasir Ris, Singapore).

The International Recorder Page by Bob Redman (USA) is a somewhat badly organised page, that amongst other things contains a special section on the Amsterdam Loeki Stardust Quartet an a teaching method, developed by the author.

The microtonal recorder: as the title indicates the webmasters of this page are interested in microtonal music for recorder. It is a no-nonsense site, with a lot of useful information on the subject.

For the fans of 20th century (Japanese) recorder music, the Recorder Homepage Japan" by Minoru Yoshizawa is absolutely a must. A large quatity of information about the musci, the composers and the status quo of the recorder in Japan.

The site of Jim Phifer (USA)(Recorder2's Home Page) contains a lot of MIDI-files bevat, and therefor mainly of interest to people who are looking for those. The site is quite slow, especially in loading the first page.

A nice page, under development, is Die Blockflöte by Katharina Hoeckh (Duitsland). There are only a few sites as well-presentted as this one.

Recorder-L mailing list. Send an e-mail with no subject, or type a space (AOL-users: type a character), and type the following command in capitals in the body of the message: SUB RECORDER-L [YOUR NAME], in which YOURNAME is replaced by your own name. Attention: this mailinglist results in many messages in one day...

American Recorder Teachers Association: an organisation for recorder teachers. Soon an European version will also come available on the same URL.
