"The Cardinal's"
NFL Fight Songs
JANUARY 2009: Another song has been added for the Cardinals, "Hail Chicago Cardinals." An audio version has been added (taken from KTAR's interview with former Cardinals player, Vince Banonis). Also, I have added a MIDI version for the Cardinals' original 1941 fight song (although the original score remains lost to history, I have put together a new melody to fit the lyrics).
- - - - - Today, fight songs are most closely associated with college athletics, specifically football. Yet, there was once a time
when proud marching bands accompanied their NFL teams into battle. Although these days are gone in the minds of most fans, such music can
still be heard at the professional football level. From the familiar strains of "Hail to the Redskins," to the music of the expansion Carolina
Panthers, fight songs continue to blare in stadia around the league.

clubs. Separated according to division, these can be accessed through the bar at the left. The collection is still far from complete, so if
