The Butterfly Effect, Scooby Doo 2 and Walking Tall are all out in the States, last one to open in the UK in early summer. Check out the link to see the trailer for WT as it features Kevin toward the middle of it. He's even got a line in it, says "You're gonna get hurt" and gets told to step away from the vehicle a second later. I've also been informed Touching Evil is showing on USA Network now, so check it out if you can. *kicks Net-cafe security settings for not letting her check site properly*

Kevin on grade 12

Guess who was an extremely cute kid in his teens? You can thank Mike (on the right) for this picture of Kevin and his first ever band "The Cottons". "More comfortable than the Nylons", as was established on the message board already. :P Kevin was in grade 12 when the photo was taken. Also do check out Mike's current band at www.droppingpoppies.com
They'll probably kill me for saying this, but I'm vividly reminded of the New Kids on the Block all of a sudden, seeing the pic. LOL. Jordan, Jonathan, Donnie, Danny and Joey reborn all over again.
(Yes I still remember the names. I could probably throw in a few birthdays, too, if you really pressed me. And it's not even the most embarrassing "band" I've liked. Teenage fangirl and proud of it. ;) )

James, Kevin, Sheldon and Mike

10.08.2003/GIG (was) ON SUNDAY!

Anybody who wants to catch the guy live on his very first gig with his band should head to BAR NONE in Vancouver on Sunday August 10th, doors open at 9pm. They went with "Mighty Tree" as the band name, btw. Genevieve Rainey will start the night off and then what I hear is an amazing band (his words, not mine, don't recognize 'em for now :) ) called Reuben will be playing before them.
GO SEE THEM, tell me how it was and take LOTS of photos!! NOW!

We're talking Walking Tall for the Rock movie KD's also in. Man's been and gonna be busy it seems, as (wahey!) Touching Evil is a go from Autumn. Likewise, he said that the pic below isn't of him (scenes only with Jasmine Guy) though it looks a lot like him even to him? Hmmh. The guy's got a clone out there somewhere. I'm pressed for time just now, behind on everything, but I'll edit it out and just provide a link to it as soon as I find the time, curiosity value.

Dead Like Me still photos at IMDB

Kevin? Looks a lot like him but I can't be sure of course... (EDIT: Isn't.)

21.6.2003

Check out Mandy Patinkin's new series Dead Like Me and a certain guest star in scenes with Jasmine Guy. We're gonna get another asshole character it seems, should be fun.
Likewise, keep a look-out on a new Showtime show called "The L-Word". Another guest starring role coming up on that one. A Viacom article on IMDB lists it as a show focusing on a community of lesbians in Los Angeles. It was previously known as Earthlings and is also apparently going to feature guest appearances by Colin Cunningham and Matthew Currie Holmes, both in a LOT of the same shows as Kevin. Same agent or something?
There's also an action film hovering somewhere about, one where he'll get to play a nemesis character to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. It'll be filmed in conjunction to Scooby and I can't wait to see it, as usual. Hopefully it's a big success. It's going to be a long wait until next year...

Can I go nuts about Touching Evil right now? I'll have to put up a separate section for it ASAP but for now, here's a couple of links you might find interesting. Nothing about Kevin so far but, ehhh... Well, can I help it if I have a major thing about Peter Wingfield and he's ALSO gonna be in it? (No.) Cor... Whooh. Sorry Kev, but Wingfield happens to floor me every time. ;)

USA 'Touching Evil' with Drama Pilot
Zap2It also notes ""Two other pilots, detective thriller "Touching Evil" and supernatural drama "Thought Crimes," stand a good chance of being picked up for early 2004."
Peter Wingfield in Touching Evil

"The Hughes Brothers (Menace II Society, From Hell) will direct and produce Touching Evil, a 90-minute series pilot that will begin production next month. The show, based on a British Granada Television series, focuses on a detective who, after surviving a near fatal incident, dedicates his life to solving high-profile crimes" hails from R. Thomas Umstead's article for Multichannel News, 1/8/2003

For some reason this also showed up in the search though it doesn't seem to list T.E. at the moment? Looks interesting in general tho and has a link to information about
Scooby Too tho you need to subscribe to it to get the details. The date for it as April 7, 2003 though, Vancouver, Canada.

OK, so he's gonna be doing a t.v. pilot for the U.S.A. network called "Touching Evil". Apparently the Hughes brothers are producing it (From hell,Menace to Society, Dead Presidents) and it's based on the U.K. show of the same title that shot from 97 to 99. He plays OSC agent Jay Swopes. The British version was a classic so hopefully the US version will be similarly quality stuff, too. No idea what his character's gonna be like but that TE site lists Mark Rivers as the youngest, sarcastic and ambitious member of the OSC, possibly something along those lines for KD, too? Good luck and hope it becomes a huge success (so I'll get to see it one day, too, dammit! :P )!
He'll also be playing one of the head villains in the Scooby Doo sequel "The Black Knight Ghost", to be shot in a couple of months so go nuts about that then! Both things are pretty much making me jump up and down over-excitedly, basically, thrilled for him. Fingers crossed, people. (What? Did I see the first Scooby? Errr... Ask me again once I've bothered to watch it).
There's also gonna be another chat with Joseph Mallozzi at GateWorld this Saturday so do check the site out and go ask him if we can have Zippy back, pretty please. ;) I'm probably going to be by the telly watching Joshua and Isaac in DA's "Two" I fear, happening at the same time and it's been hyped so much to me I can't miss it.

9.12.2002

"There is a possibility that we may be exploring Mayan mythology in the show's seventh season." (GateWorld chat with writer / executive producer Joseph Mallozzi)
"We will introduce new System Lords and lesser Goa'uld as well -- and focus on our established villains as well." (GateWorld chat with writer / executive producer Joseph Mallozzi)
Yesh! Chant: "We want Zipacna! We want Zipacna! We want Zipacna...!" Oh, pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease, I want to see more of the character. Even if it meant that he plays another "weirdo" character again, I want to see Zippy again. Please, make it more than a possibility, make it a reality. *fingers crossed* I'm in denial about the earlier word about:
Are we going to see Zipacna, Nurrti and any System Lord (other than Baal) in Season Six? "No Zipacna (he was killed by the toxin that Elliot released when he was transported aboard the mother ship at the end of 'Last Stand')."
Show me the body and I'll believe you (very reluctantly). Why would Elliot release the toxin on the MOTHERSHIP if the point was to allow SG-1 to get off the planet via the STARGATE?
