THEY'RE COMING TO GET YOU BARBARA...

The most famous location in Night is probably the cemetary. These scenes were actually the last to be shot due to the fact that the farmhouse was going to be demolished by its owners; therefore all scenes there had to be filmed as quickly as possible.
The actual cemetary is located in Evans City, Pennsylvania and is a lot smaller than it appears on screen. No props were used in the film - all gravestones are genuine!

The farmhouse was also a primary location. Owned by the Gass family, they rented the house out to the crew for about $300 a month. In the original script, the house was going to be burned to the ground but the Gass' wanted a $5000 paycheque for this, which is kinda stupid in my opinion as they demolished it as soon as filming wrapped anyway. All interior scenes at the house were shot in the day with the windows covered up, with exterior sequences filmed at night; this obviously meant that the film could be completed more quickly as they would be filming day and night.
