| The history of the original Ballet Folklorico Mexicapan begins around the Summer of 1973 when Benjamin Hernandez and Patricia Barragan first formed the group. When their first practice began, I do not know. What I do know is that I, along with Cindy Prado, Martha Delgado, and Modesto Delgadillo, were invited to join the group around September 1973.
