House Valkyrie
House Valkyrie is an all-female Household, in Amtgard. We are located in the Portland, Metro area. Our goal is to create well-rounded women in Amtgard. We encourage our full members to specialize in one aspect of Amtgard and at least learn about the other three. The are four main aspects of Amtgard being; Fighting, Role Play, Services, and Arts and Sciences (last one grouped as one).
We embrace the many different legends of Valkyries and the many different aspects of Amtgard. As Valkyries of Legend had many aspects, so too do the women of House Valkyrie. Everything from being Angels of Death (in the earliest legends) to fighters, to servants of Odin.
